It's a boot! AVP Uknown is a place to look for. Just saying and the multiplayer community is still alive. I wish I could just periodically upvote this. I can dream. I don't think re-releasing AVP2 is ever going to happen. I think there's 3 studios involved which is why it hasn't happened already.
Please add AvP 2. The game is NOT available digitally anywhere and it would be awesome if the base game and the expansion can get released on GOG. Don't know who owns the rights Disney? Make it happen GOG, we're counting on you :D.
Would love to see this game return, definitely would buy it instantly if it were released again! I loved being in control the biggest troublemaker in Alien history! Talkn' swingin' combi stick and dang ol' anything shows up all yellow on dang ol' heat vision hud grabbin electromagnetic vision take out, dang ol' Good ol' AVP2 man, got this one in a dang ol' wrapped up christman present from my ol man sayin' dang ol good memories man still got dang ol' cd set, man.. This is the best avp game of all, along with capcom's arcade beat'em up.
From what I know there is a problem with the publishing rights of this game because just like the No One Lives Forever franchise, this game was made by Monolith now property of Warner Bros. Games and published by Sierra Entertainment bought and disolved by Activision, now property of Microsoft and Fox interactive disolved, now property of Disney; so as you can see, there are 3 huge companies behind the publishing rights of this game and it is an absolute chaos.
Please make it happen! I would gladly see Aliens vs. Predator 2 on GOG :. Why is this game not here? There's Aliens versus Predator Classic here. Steam has the very short and less than amazing Aliens vs. There are not very many games from that long ago that I have fond memories of, but this one made some very lasting impressions. GOG, please get this game!! I will be right at the front of the line to buy this as soon as it becomes available.
Bumping this to try and bring it back. Easily the best of the AvP titles despite being the only one not available for sale. I've played all Alien games up to now and AVP2 is still my favorite of them all. Great gameplay, great atmosphere, basically 3 games into one. If any platform would bring back that game from the dead I would buy it immediately. I cannot believe this game is still not available digitally.
Easily the best game in the Alien franchise prior to Alien: Isolation and the best of the VS games by far with a great story, tense action and brilliant set-pieces and level design that intertwined across the three campaigns.
One of the best games ever made. Needs remaster or at least working and easy to get old version. Would buy this in a split second. Get this game on your platform gog I have my old game disks for this game, absolutely loved every minute of playing this when I was growing up.
